Woonbeurs 2013

Last week I went to the Woonbeurs together with a lot of other bloggers. We had an intense workshop and lecture day the day before from Meet the Blogger Amsterdam. Last year was the first time I attended MTB and it was very nice to see some of those bloggers again (and a lot of new faces) this year and a lot of inspiration came our way. I felt very thankful! Have a look at the list of attendees here to discover a lot of new nice blogs and posts on MTB and the Woonbeurs. I chose to only feature two shots I made at the Woonbeurs. I made a lot of photo’s, some can be seen on my Instagram, but I especially liked these and anyway: less is more! This coming week I will be heading to the Frankfurt Buchmesse to do some more trend discoveries. Have a nice week everyone! {photo’s + design by me}

Just a few days to go for MTBA! I’m so excited! Some of my interior design hero’s are speaking (Tricia Guild for instance) and I am very much looking forward to an inspiring day with all of my fellow bloggers (who already feel like friends). Last year I didn’t know what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised by the level of workshops and lectures. The following day we can all attend the Woonbeurs and I’m also looking forward to that! {photo’s by Kate Edwards}

Woonbeurs 2012 #2

Some more pics from the Woonbeurs 2012. I just love these sort of events, I could keep on taking pictures! In two weeks you can find me at the Frankfurt Buchmesse for work, another kind of atmosphere, but with the same sort of inspirational vibe. I would love to travel to Milan and go to Interieur 2012 in Kortrijk or Maison & Objet in Paris too. Maybe next time… who knows? {1. & 2. Loved the 101woonideeën house! Woonbeurs 2012 #1

This year for the first time I was incredibly fortunate to attend the Woonbeurs as press. I never thought of myself as press although now in a way I sort of am. On Tuesday I attended the bloggersmeeting hosted by Sanoma Media. I saw a lot of other inspiring bloggers there and was so impressed by their passion and enthusiasm. We were welcomed by the editor in chief of three (!) magazines by Sanoma. She was a true inspirational lady and she had so much energy! She talked about how we all were busy branding ourselves and that one blogger was a whole magazine into oneself. I thought it was very interesting she said you should always stay true to yourself. I couldn’t agree more. This is why I only blog about things I think are worthwhile. This blog is my personal view on beauty (and it is sort of pastel and if possible eco-friendly, because these are things that reflect who I am). My blog isn’t as much about trends (although a good eye always discovers trends I think), but it’s about esthetics. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This blog is my ‘eye’ and I do […]
